[About PixyBits]

PixyBits is about the lives of three roommates, Kat, Rick, and Lisa. Kat and Rick are dating also known as Katrick (like Patrick), or their formal name can be Fredrina.

Lisa is Kat's best friend and she moved up to Seattle after seeing the city once. She went to highschool in Colorado and has strong friendships in the area. She moved to California to be close to her family which all moved to Chico without her.

Once in Chico Lisa and Kat hated eachother but only because they are silly girls and felt threatened. Lisa started working at the same night job (Evil T) Kat was at. But then randomly they became friends over Tamagotchis, video games, and wine.

Kat and Rick met at a party. They didn't really talk that much, but Rick's first spark of interest came when she kicked everyone's ass in Super Smash Brothers Melee. Kat crushed over his work without even knowing that it was his program. But really she stumbled into his room at another party and he was playing Bleed Like Me by Garbage. Her favorite band EVER.

Anyways. The three of them live in an apartment in north Seattle and have lots of fun things to play with including gaming systems, a large screen TV, mini pool table, and an air hockey table. Not to mention the whole chest of board games on the porch. It is only proper that such a place should be dubbed The Nerdery.

Kat refuses to set a schedule for the posting of comics, because:

  1. She will procrastinate and doesn't want to let people down every Mon/Wed/Fri
  2. It's new and she's not that good at drawing with a tablet yet

The comic will usually be B&W pictures with the subjects colored in. The characters for the most part are actually behind the paint, but not necessarily with the same expression as if finally drawn. Kat uses Photoshop 7 and a Wacom tablet that she spontaneously bought after quitting her job.
